General Statement of Duties of the Transportation Driver:
Provides transportation services to human service agencies and the general public by operating vehicles.

Drivers Wanted

No CDL Needed

At JCATS (Johnston Co. Area Transportation System)

Title: Transportation Driver

Department: JCATS

Reports To: Operations Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drives vehicles on designated schedules to transport passengers to and from destination.
Monitors and reports status and needs of the vehicles for maintenance and safe operation
Maintains first aid supplies, bodily fluid spill clean up supplies, and fire suppression equipment on the vehicles.
Records mileage, number of passengers, times, and other required information on forms.
Assists passengers with seat belts, getting in and out of vehicles as needed and required.
Operates a wheel chair lift and assists the passenger.
