Nutrition Coordinator
Full job description
An employee will work with staff and volunteers in the preparation and serving of meals and ensure that quality standards for preparation are met when delivered from the contractor. Manage the daily operation of the nutrition program, which provides congregate, home-delivered meals and frozen meals. Cleans, prepares, and arranges physical facilities for serving meals. Assures all health and food regulations and standards are met at the site and maintains these standards when meals are served. Delivers meals to homebound clients when no volunteer is available. Work also includes the maintenance of clerical records and checking of inventories of supplies. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license is required for this position.

Housing Specialist
Full job description
Perform administrative and clerical work in the rental, inspection, and record-keeping functions for the multi-family housing operations of the agency. Perform annual recertifications for tenants and maintain client files for compliance with applicable state & federal regulations. Determine the eligibility of applicants for housing and maintain waiting lists. Post monthly rent payments. Handle concerns and/or complaints from tenants and refer complex issues to the Housing Manager. Input work orders into the computer and prioritize for maintenance staff. Compile, prepare, and maintain a variety of information, data, reports, and files on applicants, residents and housing units. Sound judgment is required in performing the tasks. Guides may include a variety of written manuals and instructions as well as established rules and regulations. Provide backup support for receptionist (answering incoming calls). Will work under the direction of the Housing Director.
Qualifications
Must be computer literate. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Must possess a valid NC driver’s license. Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Experience working with the elderly preferred. Work requires independence and self-initiative. Fast paced environment so multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must.
